What to Expect
Forester's Co-Op hires for positions such as crew foreman, forestry technician, forester, biometrician, GIS analyst, and other environmental roles. Employees at FCO are expected to take on a variety of tasks while primarily assisting our Registered Professional Foresters with field work such as timber marking, GPS mapping, timber cruising, fuel load inventories, vegetation control application, plan layout, and data processing for analytical analysis for CEQA/NEPA related projects. Expect to learn new skills such as GIS and GPS applications while assisting on projects.

Applicants must be comfortable and productive while working long hours in potentially inclement weather and harsh field conditions. A team-focused work ethic, excellent communication and customer service skills, and a proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite are required.
