Forester’s Co-Op utilizes spatially driven fire modeling software such as Farsite and FlamMap in conjunction with fuel inventory to create the Fire Behavior Trend Model. Elevation, slope, aspect, fuel model, canopy cover, and weather are all customized for each client’s modeling project within a GIS framework.
