Wildfire Fuelbreaks Proximity Assessment

As a part of Forester’s Co-Op wildfire risk assessment, we consider the type of project, proximity, topographic placement, structure, and maintenance regime of fuelbreaks that may be relevant to a proposed development project.  Here, we’ve identified fuelbreaks on the Angeles National Forest (ANF) that may alter wildfire risks pertaining to the Barren Ridge Renewable Transmission Project.  Our analyses are performed in collaboration with respective agencies: for this project, the Angeles National Forest.
